Beginning 1 Oct 2005, InterFAX will undergo a major upgrade, intended to create two separate and mutually-redundant data centers. The objective of this upgrade is to improve our system availability even further.

New feature: Interfax now allows users to: (1) sign and encrypt outbound faxes, and (2) receive inbound faxes signed and encrypted, using standard public-key infrastructure signature and encryption.
The Interfax infrastructure was relocated today. The network's design emphasizes redundancy, to enable immediate faxing at all times. This has been achieved by duplicating critical subsystems and making remote nodes "intelligent" and capable of semi-autonomous operation.
