19 Jan 2007 InterFAX Adds Support for Faxing from MS Office 2007

InterFAX has added support for faxing from the Microsoft Office menu under File -> Send To -> Recipient Using Internet Fax Service.  This has until now only been possible from Microsoft Office 2003.

Building on Interfax's existing advanced Web Services interface, Microsoft Office 2007 users only need to perform a simple service activation.  This is done through a "Office 2007 Activation" menu option in the web-based administration screens.

This feature allows users to send faxes directly from the Microsoft Office suite with no installation of fax modems, fax software, or phone lines. Interfax lets users send and receive faxes from any workstation on the office network, directly from Office applications. With no learning curve, Interfax is easy to install and use. Broadcast lists may be managed online, so a document can be sent to a single email address to be distributed to up to 500 fax recipients at a time.
