InterFAX Supports Google Docs OCR Capabilities

We are happy to announce that we have completed integration with Google Docs' optical character recognition (OCR) feature. Applying cutting-edge OCR capabilities already available in Google Docs, faxes received via InterFAX can now be automatically converted into fully editable documents. As a result, Google Docs users can easily manipulate and edit incoming faxes, leading to greater flexibility, convenience and efficiency.

Faxes received through InterFAX are automatically forwarded to Google Docs as PDF files. Google Docs' OCR feature automatically converts the received faxes into editable documents. Users can then enter the documents, and carry out whatever action is required – from filling out a form, through editing text, to searching for a word or phrase. Once users finish working with the document, they can fax it directly from Google Docs to their desired destination.
